How Pro Se Institute works
1. Answer guided questionnaires
Instead of starting with blank court forms, you begin by answering guided questions about your case. The questionnaires are designed to help you provide the information needed to prepare your documents.
2. Generate your court-ready forms
Your answers are used to automatically populate the applicable court forms included in your Pro Se Institute Kit. Once you complete the questionnaire, your customized documents are generated for you to review, download, print, sign, notarize when required, and prepare for filing.
3. Learn as you go
You do not have to complete an entire course before you can start working on your case. While you are preparing your documents, you will have access to focused lessons that explain what you are doing, why it matters, and what comes next.
Depending on your Kit, lessons may walk you through topics such as filing your documents, service of process, responding to court notices, discovery, mediation, preparing for hearings, presenting your case, and understanding what happens after the court enters an order.
